Hospital for Special Care is seeking a Telemonitor Technician to provide continuous observation of assigned patients using AvaSure. You will redirect at-risk behavior via verbal directions and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure patient safety.

The role includes troubleshooting camera setups, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting any downtime promptly. Second shift, 32 hours weekly, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with general hospital knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to read, write and understand directions in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred: one year hospital experience.
• Preferred: Nurse Assistant/Medical Assistant certification.
• Preferred: direct patient care experience.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patients continuously and redirect at-risk behavior via the AvaSure two-way audio system.
• Troubleshoot camera issues and report downtime to the AvaSure manager or shift manager.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and document observations during shifts.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies.
