Hospital for Special Care is seeking a Telemonitor Technician to provide continuous observation of patients via the AvaSure system. You will redirect behaviors, report incidents to nursing staff, and ensure camera equipment is properly set up in patient rooms.

This role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and teamwork. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong English communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and understand directions in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• One-year hospital experience preferred.
• Nurse Assistant/Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor assigned patients continuously using the AvaSure system.
• Verbally redirect patients using the 2-way audio device and notify nursing staff as needed.
• Troubleshoot and set up cameras in patient rooms and report issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation of all patients on monitor and communicate changes to staff.
• Participate in shift reports and collaborate on patient safety and environment checks.
