The role emphasizes rounds, answering call lights, data entry, keeping rooms clean, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and smooth operation.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurse Aide training program or CNA certification, or 6 months experience as Nursing Assistant in a healthcare facility, or completion of fundamentals of nursing if enrolled in a nursing program.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC or Canadian equivalent, valid at start and for at least 60 days beyond.

Aufgaben

• Perform hourly rounds focusing on pain, position, personal needs, and possessions.
• Answer calls and relay information to staff promptly and courteously.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care (beds, baths, feeding, oral care, vitals, I&O, mobilization).
• Greet patients/families and assist with transport to other units or tests.
• Ensure rooms and equipment are clean and properly stored.
