McLaren in Lapeer, MI is seeking a Unit Clerk/Nurse Aide to support the 2 W Progressive Care Unit. You will perform receptionist and secretarial duties, assist with patient care, and help maintain privacy and comfort for patients under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, answering calls, and assisting with bed making, baths, feeding, and vital signs as directed by nursing staff. FT schedule, days shift, with 72 bi-weekly hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurse Aide training completion or healthcare experience.
• BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of keyboard/computer.
• Data entry experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Nurse Aide training program completed.
• Current Michigan CNA certification.
• Experience as Unit Clerk or Nurse Aide.
• Previous data entry experience.

• Performs hourly rounding for pain, position, personal needs and possessions.
• Answers phone lines and call lights promptly, relaying information to staff.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care tasks while maintaining safety and comfort.
