Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry floor. This full-time night shift (7pm-7am) offers rotating weekends and holidays, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The role delivers safe patient care using the nursing process, coordinates patient/family teaching, and collaborates with physicians on changes in condition and test results. Prior acute care and telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process on the Telemetry Unit.
• Direct patient and family teaching and guidance of nursing staff.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
