Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and direct patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results, including cardiac monitoring.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
