Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate required at hire and maintained.
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days and maintained.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Tele/med surge unit.
• Direct patient and family teaching and supervise other nursing staff.
• Communicate patient condition changes with the physician and respond to clinical changes promptly.
