Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years as an RN in acute care.
• Strong communication and partnership with patients and families.
• Understanding of patient safety and related practices.
• Experience with discharge planning and care coordination.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care for the designated unit.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and coordinated care respecting patient preferences.
• Support interprofessional teams and policy adherence.
• Oversee staffing, schedules, and payroll in collaboration with Nurse Manager.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in Clinical Ladder and Magnet initiatives.
