Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Telemetry/ICU RN for a PRN night shift at a small-format hospital in Oklahoma City. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care for high-acuity patients requiring cardiovascular monitoring and advanced respiratory support.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in telemetry/ICU, proficiency with cardiac infusions, BiPAP and high-flow oxygen, and strong teamwork with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years telemetry/ICU RN experience; or 2+ years related healthcare experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency; strong communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist others.
• Handle care per state Board of Nursing standards.
