Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Telemetry Observation unit (4th Floor). This full-time role requires 36 hours per week with a 7P-7A schedule. The position involves applying the nursing process, patient/family engagement, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications include RN licensure in the state, BLS, and BSN preferred. Prior clinical nursing experience (1 year) is typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where RN provides client nursing services.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
