Job summary

Advocate Health University City is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Telemetry on the 4th Floor. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, with a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

schedule and benefits eligibility. The RN will provide bedside care, utilize the nursing process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires an active RN license, typically BSN, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation; promotes safety and supports professional development.
