Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a registered nurse for a full-time, night-shift role in the Med Telemetry Observation unit (4th Floor). You will deliver patient-centered care, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will monitor patient conditions, adjust plans as needed, and document accurately in the EHR. Responsibilities may include medication administration per protocol and occasional floating to other units; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; state licenses as needed.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patients, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the team.
• Maintain patient safety and accuracy of EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Float to other units as needed.
