Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Med Telemetry Observation unit (4th Floor) on a part-time basis. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

This role requires at least one year of clinical nursing experience, BLS, and an active RN license; BSN preferred. Schedule is 7pm–7am, 24 hours per week, with base compensation within the posted pay range.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; telehealth considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates care plans, and coordinates with the team.
• Maintains safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols.
