Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry (2 East) for full-time night shifts. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will participate in safety initiatives, maintain accurate documentation in the EHR, and may float within the service area to meet patient needs. BSN preferred; BLS required; 1 year of clinical nursing expected.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where RN provides client nursing services.
• BLS certification at minimum.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety.
• Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols as needed.
• Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to support collaboration.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and support integrated, unbiased patient care.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
