Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Med Telemetry Observation unit in Charlotte, NC. The role features 24 hours per week with a 7pm–7am schedule, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing education. Qualifications include an RN license (BSN preferred), BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications as required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols and procedures.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
