Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Telemetry. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation while guiding junior staff and patient education.

The role includes handling cardiac monitoring and rapid response to condition changes in a busy unit. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified candidates, with a full-time day shift schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate current upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical RN certification or equivalent preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and nursing activities.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and chart.
• Response to changes in condition and to treatment outcomes promptly.
