Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians on patient status and test results.

The position is full time, Days shift, with rotating holidays and weekends. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical‑Surgical Nurse‑Board Certified (RN‑BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
