Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a Registered Nurse for Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. The role covers the Acute Telemetry unit with day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm, 12-hour shifts) and a 7:30am start may apply.

A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, and comprehensive benefits are provided. Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, nursing process execution, and coordinating with physicians on patient status and tests.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Deliver direct patient care within the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physician, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results.
