Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit. This full-time Days position features 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, with a focus on safe, compassionate patient care across Med/Surg/Telemetry.

You will hold an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and demonstrate proficiency in basic rhythm interpretation; BSN is preferred. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available and a comprehensive benefits package supports your growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 30 days.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days.
• BSN preferred; acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nurses.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
