Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry on a full-time days schedule (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll provide safe patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and communicate changes in patient condition to the physician. Chicago area hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
