Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for Telemetry/Med-Surg. Full-time days, 7a-7p shifts with rotating holidays and weekends. You will provide direct patient care, lead patient education, and collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of care.

Required RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and basic arrhythmia interpretation. Ventilator management and BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in Telemetry Unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Direct patient/family teaching and coordinate care with team.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians promptly.
