Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Utah to collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families. You will promote patient safety and high-quality care through the nursing process in a mission-driven environment.

You will assess, plan, and execute care, demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, and specimens, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding patient-centered care principles.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; licensure in the state of employment.
• RN license in the state where you will work.
• Preferred Bachelor degree in Nursing; one year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement the care plan with the interdisciplinary team and monitor outcomes.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient charts and document status, interventions and outcomes.
• Advocate for patient safety and educate patients/families based on assessed learning needs.

Associates Degree in Nursing
