Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/endorsement.
• RN license in state of employment.
• BLS American Heart certified.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• TNCC certification.
• ENPC certification.
• Physical requirements: medium work with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual domains.
• Evaluate responses and intervene to optimize patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic tasks (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimens).
• Maintain confidential patient charts and document status and outcomes.
• Use IT to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision-making.
• Advocate for patient safety and health rights; educate patients and families.
• Provide caregiver education and assess learning readiness.
