Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant in our 2N Telemetry Observation unit in Sun City, AZ. The role focuses on routine patient care, data collection, and collaboration with physicians, case management, and nurses to support patient needs.

This fast-paced unit offers ongoing training and the opportunity to float to other IP units as needed. Part-time, 2 days per week, 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations to ensure continuous patient coverage.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA/LNA is required or preferred.
• Experience in bedside care and telemetry settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and participate in overall patient care plan.
• Collect patient data including vital signs and intake/output, and document in medical records.
• Recognize and report changes in patient status to licensed staff.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision as appropriate.
• Support unit operations with receptionist/clerical duties as needed.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification
