Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs, intake and output, daily weights, and other data in EMR.
• Conduct rounds, communicate observations to RN, and prepare room for admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum samples and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and nutrition needs under RN supervision.
