Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior clerical and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting a plus.
• Must be able to use multiple hospital software systems and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Bed management and ADT coordination with nursing and ED.
• Maintain unit records, discharge planning, and patient transport as needed.
• Communicate with departments to expedite tests and discharges.
• Provide shift handoff reports with pending discharges and admissions.
• Assist Hospitalists during rounds and coordinate coverage for breaks.
