Qualifications

• Successful completion of all orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care consistent with established standards and policies.
• Assist with discharge planning and ensure teaching discharge plans.
• Appropriately delegate tasks while remaining ultimately responsible.
• Assume charge nurse functions as delegated by Nurse Manager.
• Complete daily patient classification and unit competencies as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Demonstrate professionalism with families, physicians and staff.
