Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Jersey City Medical Center Medical-Surgical Unit-I. The role focuses on telemetry and stroke care with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other weekend required.

A NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and EPIC experience are desired. Applicants should be committed to compassionate patient care, teamwork, and continual professional growth within a leading New Jersey health system.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for timely decisions.
• Document accurately in EPIC EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
• Support ongoing professional growth and clinical ladder opportunities.
