Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool at Monmouth Medical Center. The role covers six areas, primarily Med/Surg and Telemetry, with additional shifts in ED or ICU as needed. A minimum of two years' acute care experience and NJ RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care/Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely decisions.
• Educate patients and families to empower ongoing care decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Participate in rounds and promote effective communication across teams.
