RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Night Shift RN for the Telemetry Float Pool at our West Orange location. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, coordinated care across multiple sites within our system.
This role requires an active New Jersey RN license, BLS/ACLS, and telemetry experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a long-term growth path through our clinical ladder and professional development

In this role, RNs have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad scope of patient care within their specialty area while working assignments at each of the sites throughout our system. The RNs support the team and the patients at each site for an average of three months per assignment. There are opportunities available to float regionally (to the northern or the southern region sites) or to float throughout the entire RWJBH system.You will help advance patient care and strengthen the experience of individuals and families across our organization. To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification with at least 3 years of medical/surgical telemetry experience in a hospital setting. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a full-time, Night Shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with weekend and holiday rotations, 36 hours per week, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
