RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the System-Wide Float Pool in New Jersey. You will rotate across sites, supporting telemetry patients, with assignments averaging three months per site.

Strong clinical judgment and compassionate patient care are essential as you float regionally within the RWJBH system. Requires NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years telemetry experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license with valid BLS and ACLS; 3+ years telemetry in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or within 5 years of hire.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families for next steps in care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote effective communication.
