Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a personable Onsite Telehealth Specialist (TS)/Optometric Assistant (Telehealth) to be the face of patient care. This role supports remote eye exams, liaises between patients and Telemedicine physicians, and ensures a smooth Visionworks experience.

Youll handle preliminary testing, patient records, transition to sales, stock and phone duties, with part-time hours and a pay rate of $15–$18.47 per hour. Visionworks offers competitive benefits and a DE&I friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaison between patients and Telemedicine Remote Physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals.
