Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a Supervisor Telehealth Technology Coordinator to oversee telehealth operations across regional hospitals. You will hire, onboard, train, supervise, and support Telehealth Coordinators, and establish metrics for performance.

Collaboration with MTIC and hospital leaders is essential to drive telehealth initiatives and optimize workflows. The role requires engaging with executives, clinicians, and patients, and ensures compliance with MedStar Health standards while advancing

Qualifications

Associate's degree required or
Bachelor's degree preferred
One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Responsibilities

Contributes to achievement of department goals and adheres to policies, procedures, quality and safety standards.
Develops and manages department budget and resources.
Trains, orients, and assigns staff; evaluates performance and conducts performance management planning.
Facilitates care virtually by connecting requestors with the patient via telehealth devices and platforms.
Collaborates with MedStar Telehealth Innovation Center and hospital leadership on telehealth strategy and patient experience initiatives.
Leads team workflow, provides audits and reports to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
Ensures tasks of TCC team are completed, devices maintained, and documentation is accurate.
