Job summary

Trinity Health Medical Group seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the medical assisting staff and support office leadership in achieving operational goals. You will oversee workflows, training, scheduling, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, ensuring efficient patient care and a positive patient experience.

Role requires leadership, Medicare/Medicaid/compliance awareness, and the ability to coordinate with providers, nurses, and office leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• High school graduate with coursework in management or supervision; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Management or Healthcare Administration.
• Completion of accredited MA program and MA externship; EMT/Paramedic/ATC credentials accepted if applicable.
• Valid CPR certification and MA credential from a recognized agency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, client-focused care and workflow.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train and coach MA staff per guidelines.
• Organize training materials and manage scheduling and timekeeping.
• Enter medication, lab and radiology orders into EMR per guidelines.
• Evaluate MA performance and assist with promotions and disciplinary actions.
• Develop clinical protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage immunization and vaccine programs and audits; participate in budgeting and committee work.
