Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to support the FAA's telecommunications and video systems on-site at ZOA ARTCC. The role centers on maintaining and enhancing IP-based telephony, AVAYA, and video services to ensure reliable operations.

Responsibilities include planning equipment moves, testing hardware, generating reports, and training end-users. A technical IT background and strong problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this

Qualifications

Degree in IT-related field desirable.
3+ years of related experience.
Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms; IP-based telephony, PBX, digital voice.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications and video systems to meet operational standards.
Monitors the operations of telecommunications and video systems and services of vendors.
Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
Plans, coordinates and performs all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
Provides end-user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.
