Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to transform technology into opportunity by delivering unified communication services to our FAA customer at a USA CA Fremont site.

You will analyze, install, and support telecommunications and video systems, ensuring operations meet standards and coordinating moves with vendors. Strong customer service, problem solving, and after-hours support are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: Degree in IT related field desirable.
• Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience.
• Required Technical Skills: Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms. IP based telephony, PBX platforms, Digital Voice Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications and video systems to meet operational standards.
• Monitors the operations of telecommunications and video systems and services of vendors.
• Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
• Plans, coordinates and performs all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
• Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
• Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
• Provides end-user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.
