Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a Telecommunications Manager to lead the firm’s Avaya telephony platform, evaluate cloud PBX and UCaaS options, and develop a multi-year technology roadmap. The role supports secure communications, remote work, and hybrid arrangements across offices.

The candidate will manage provisioning, installations, and maintenance, while coordinating with carriers and integrating telephony with Teams and Zoom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 8+ years of enterprise telephony experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform required.
• Experience with cloud UCaaS solutions (Teams, Zoom, SIP, RingCentral) and integrations.
• Strong vendor management, contracting, and telecommunications budgeting skills.
• Certifications in Avaya or UCaaS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the firm’s Avaya telephony platform and evaluate cloud PBX/UCaaS for growth.
• Develop and execute a multi-year telecommunications roadmap aligned with firm objectives.
• Oversee provisioning, installation, and maintenance of telecom hardware, software, and services.
• Coordinate carrier installations and moves/adds/changes with target dates and quality standards.
• Integrate telephony with practice management software and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom).
• Manage telecom vendor relationships, contracts, invoices, and budgets; identify cost savings.
