Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP seeks a Telecommunications Manager to lead the firm’s telephony strategy, modernize legacy systems, and drive adoption of cloud and hybrid platforms. You will direct provisioning, maintenance, and integration with practice management tools, ensuring secure communications and high availability across offices.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and the ability to partner across teams while managing vendor contracts and telecom budgets to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 8+ years managing enterprise telephony systems, preferably in a law firm or professional services
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform required
• Extensive experience with cloud-based/UCaaS telephony solutions (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SIP, RingCentral, Cisco)
• Proven vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting experience
• GT certifications and security/compliance awareness preferred

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and lead telecommunication initiatives and technology roadmaps
• Oversee provisioning, installation, and maintenance of telecom hardware, software, and services
• Manage telecom vendor relationships, contracts, and invoicing audits for accuracy
• Develop and manage telecom budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities
• Lead and develop the telecom team to meet performance and availability targets
• Ensure compliance with security, HIPAA, GDPR, and ABA guidelines in telecom operations
