Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a Telecommunications Manager to lead the firm’s telephony strategy, ensuring secure communications and seamless migration to cloud/UCaaS platforms. The role can be based in multiple offices with remote options, reporting to the Director of Network Systems.

You will oversee provisioning, installations, and service delivery, align a multi-year roadmap with firm goals, and manage vendor relationships and budgets while maintaining high client service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years managing enterprise telephony systems, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform required.
• Extensive experience with cloud UCaaS solutions (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SIP, RingCentral, Cisco).
• Experience with vendor management, contracts, and telecommunications budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manages and optimizes the firm’s Avaya telephony platform and evaluates emerging technologies for future growth.
• Develops and executes transition plans from legacy systems to modern platforms with minimal disruption.
• Creates a multi-year telecommunications roadmap aligned with firm objectives.
• Leads assessment and selection of telephony solutions that support secure communications and hybrid work.
