Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a leading global law firm, seeks a Telecommunications Manager to lead the Avaya telephony and cloud communications strategy. Based in various offices or remotely, you will drive modernization while ensuring uninterrupted client service and compliance.

You will oversee provisioning, maintenance, vendor management, budgets, and security controls, guiding a team to deliver reliable voice and data services across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 8+ years managing enterprise telephony systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform; experience with cloud UCaaS.
• Certifications: Avaya ACIS/ACSS or equivalent; Teams/Voice certifications preferred.
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and telecommunications budgeting.
• Proven track record of technology adoption and change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Avaya telephony; evaluate cloud PBX and UCaaS solutions.
• Develop multi-year telecom roadmap aligned with firm objectives.
• Oversee provisioning, installation, and maintenance of telecom hardware, software, and services.
• Lead vendor relations, audits, billing disputes, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with security controls and privacy requirements.
