Greenwood County is seeking Telecommunications Officers (911 Dispatchers) to be the calm voice during emergencies. You will answer 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatch responders, and provide critical medical guidance when needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Successful SCCJA E-911 training and NCIC certification are required.

As a Telecommunications Officer, you will play a critical role in public safety by serving as the first point of contact during emergencies. Your ability to remain focused, communicate clearly, and make quick decisions will help ensure that residents and first responders receive the assistance they need.
