Job summary

Cartesian is seeking a Principal to join the Management Consulting team. You will drive new business while delivering high-impact engagements in the telecommunications sector.

This hybrid sales + delivery role requires building client relationships, closing deals, and leading complex engagements end-to-end. You will be a key member of Cartesian’s leadership team, shaping strategy, delivering value, and driving revenue growth through new and existing accounts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in management consulting with a focus on telecommunications.
• Track record of growing revenue in consulting engagements (target $1–$2M annually).
• Experience leading large-scale telecom programs (5G, fiber deployment, OSS/BSS, network transformation).
• Ability to sell and deliver strategic engagements and navigate enterprise sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development: identify, pursue, and close new engagements with telecom clients (target $1–2M).
• Develop relationships with C-level and VP stakeholders.
• Shape proposals, SOWs, and go-to-market strategies with leadership.
• Develop thought leadership to position Cartesian as a partner of choice.
