Job summary

INDATEL Services, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer in Overland Park, KS to support the sales process by combining technical expertise with strong customer-facing skills, designing telecom solutions and communicating the value of those solutions.

You will collaborate with account executives, product teams, network engineers, and implementation teams throughout the sales cycle to ensure solutions are technically feasible and commercially competitive.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a telecom engineering, network engineering, solutions consulting, pre‑sales engineering, or technical sales.
• Working knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, WAN services, and cloud communications.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Ciena, Nokia, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, RingCentral.
• Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to design telecom solutions and translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective and existing customers to identify technical requirements, business goals, budgets, and operational challenges.
• Design telecom solutions involving data, internet, cloud communications, networking, and managed services.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of concept.
• Prepare solution designs, network diagrams, equipment lists, technical proposals, statements of work, and responses to RFPs or RFQs.
• Coordinate with implementation and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to deployment.
• Stay current on telecom products, network technologies, and market trends.
