Job summary

Aligned Data Centers seeks a Telecommunications Engineer to support the engineering team on technical topics and collaborate with internal and external design teams. You will contribute from early design through the assessment of installed conditions and yearly site evaluations, elevating technical capabilities across multiple work streams.

You will help manage telecom strategy, infrastructure design, AV and security installations, and operations, while coordinating with IT, Security, and Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent; RCDD preferred.
• Experience with TIA-942 data center telecom standards and ICT design.
• Knowledge of telecom systems, protocols, and industry standards.
• Experience with large-scale network design, deployment and management.
• General understanding of data center infrastructure or construction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Some experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic telecommunications roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Sales for seamless telecom integration.
• Assist design, installation, and commissioning of telecom infrastructure.
• Review design deliverables and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support design decisions at inception and throughout project phases.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements and security.
