Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in telecommunications construction, utility construction, or outside plant (OSP) field operations.
• Exposure to aerial and underground telecom construction environments.
• Knowledge of pole attachments, grounding, splicing, restoration, and related practices.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate completed construction work against client specifications, engineering designs, company standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify defects, workmanship issues, and compliance gaps, and document findings with reports and photos.
• Verify proper installation techniques for aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure.
• Ensure OSHA, NESC, and company safety policies are followed on site.
• Review construction practices related to pole attachments, grounding/bonding, splicing enclosures, handholes, pedestals, and restoration quality.
