Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Project Leader (Telecommunications) to guide the design, deployment, and leadership of complex telecom systems. You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, while aligning with customers on proposals and cost estimates, ensuring profitable delivery.

You will oversee planning, engineering, field coordination, and close-out activities, applying CPM scheduling and coordination across multi-discipline teams to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in construction focusing on Telecommunications & Security Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Construction Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and CPM knowledge; ability to manage $500K–$10M scopes.
• Experience with federal/aviation or higher-education markets is a plus.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, MS Office & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecom systems.
• Set procedures to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Coordinate with Superintendent, Engineering, and field staff.
• Manage subcontractors and Track resource-loaded schedules in MS Project.
• Forecast cash flow and manpower; develop budgets with cost codes.
• Prepare design/build estimates and present proposals to customers.
• Ensure accurate as-built drawings and operation manuals are delivered.
