Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Telecom Manager to oversee delivery, performance, and lifecycle management of telecom services across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. You will own end-to-end provisioning, installation coordination, and activation for field locations, ensuring on-time delivery and standardized deployments.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in telecom, network operations, or carrier management.
• Experience supporting large, multi-site telecom environments.
• Hands-on experience with circuit provisioning and carrier delivery processes.
• Experience managing telecom vendors (Comcast, Lumen, etc.) and escalations.
• Experience coordinating across engineering and field deployment teams.
• Preferred experience working with telecom aggregators (Granite, Meriplex, etc.).
• Preferred experience in distributed enterprise environments.
• Preferred experience improving telecom inventory accuracy and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full lifecycle of telecom circuits, including ordering, provisioning, installation, activation, and disconnects.
• Coordinate circuit delivery across field locations to meet timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with carriers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Manage vendor performance related to delivery timelines and service quality.
• Partner with Field Infrastructure and location management for site readiness and turn-ups.
• Ensure telecom services align with network architecture and VLAN strategies.
• Analyze outage trends and drive vendor improvements.
• Maintain telecom inventory accuracy and lifecycle governance.
