Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Junior Project Management Coordinator to serve as the central coordination point for customer orders for a facilities-based telecommunications service provider. You will partner with engineering, field services, billing, and operations to deploy fiber services and complete installations on schedule.

You will manage multiple client projects, communicate with multiple departments, and ensure documentation and day-2 operations are wrapped up after installation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level coordination for the fulfillment of customer orders for a facilities-based telecommunications service provider.
• Consult with customers to confirm services ordered and expected outcomes, then create and implement deployment plans and schedules.
• Serve as the single point of contact and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Juggle multiple client projects with changing priorities and communicate effectively to prevent delivery delays.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver fiber services and oversee installation execution with field services staff.
• Document completed installations and close orders with the billing department; handle post-installation Day-2 documentation.

Job description

• Provide high-level coordination for the fulfillment of customer orders for a facilities-based, telecommunications service provider. The Junior Project Management Coordinator is the central coordination point for the customer, working with other departments who perform construction, configuration, installation, testing, and customer cutover.
• Consulting with customers to confirm the services ordered and expected outcome and timing. Based on customer input and consultation with engineering departments, will create and implement a plan and schedule for deployment, acts as the single point of contact and is accountable for the completed installation of all services.
• Be able to juggle multiple client projects with constantly changing priorities. Communicate effectively with multiple departments during the order process and lift orders that appear to be in jeopardy of missing their delivery date.
• Reviewing incoming orders and performing necessary data entry and communications to kick project off.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver fiber services and fulfillment technicians.
• Executing the installation with assistance from field services and fulfillment technicians.
• Documentation of the completed installation and closing order with billing department.
• Process all post-installation work including documentation for Day-2 operations.
• Guide and influence team members and business colleagues
