Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced Preconstruction Manager – Telecom to bridge engineering design and construction for major industrial projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and contractors to develop comprehensive bid packages that cover the full scope.

The role emphasizes constructability input and sequencing to create a preconstruction plan for telecom and low‑voltage work on site, with travel to project locations and near U.S. offices preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent construction experience, including certified technical training.
• Experience interpreting construction means, methods, codes and standards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in resolving design and constructability issues during construction.
• Identify opportunities for schedule and cost savings based on design and modularization options.
• Identify trade partners for early contractor engagement during design phase.
• Coordinate cross-discipline evaluation of telecom and low voltage for construction sequencing.
