Job summary

Walt Disney World in Florida seeks an Electronic Technician who will provide hardware support across multiple lines of business, focusing on Avaya/Cisco telephony, in-room WiFi and TIMELOX devices, and the installation of layer 1 infrastructure.

You will work with voice and data connectivity for events and resort environments, operate and test fiber/copper networks, and assist the special events team as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver's license required.
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Avaya environments.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure phones and peripherals on Avaya and Cisco systems.
• Sustainment of in-room technology including WIFI, TIMELOX, and GPON equipment.
• Install and maintain layer 1 infrastructure.
• Terminate and test CAT6a cabling.
• Support events with voice and data connectivity across Walt Disney World.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE as required.
